About the Author...
An acclaimed writer and a deep thinker, Konan Kouakou is a mechanical engineer by profession, an entrepreneur by passion, and an inventor with a portfolio of a dozen inventions.
Konan is multilingual and fluent both writing and speaking in French and English with proficiency in Spanish.
He also speaks fluently in three other African Tribal languages: The Baoule, the Agni and the Dioula.
Konan believes in creativity and innovation. His technical abilities were identified at young age, graduating at the top of his classes in grade school which granted him access to a technical high school where he learned pre-engineering.
Upon graduation, he was accepted to college on a full ride scholarship in one of the top polytechnic universities in the continent of Africa.
He picked up his entrepreneurial skills while in college as an event planner, promoting artists, musicians, and comedians who entertained college students, for extra curriculum activities.
Konan made his first move in the real estate business five years after immigrating to United States. In 2003, he purchased his first house in one of the suburbs of Chicago at the age of 27 and sold it in 2006 (public record) for a profit margin of $71,350 right before the real estate bubble that caused the economy to collapse in 2008.
He ran a wholesale hair and wig distribution business part-time from the basement of his house for a decade with over $110,000 in revenue per year while maintaining a full-time leadership position at Swiss, in the airline industry.
He is a graduate of the Accredited Joseph Business School, Chicago campus, in business and entrepreneurship.
Konan is now a published author. He is also the Chairman and CEO of Scan Print Technology, an innovative tech company he started in 2012 to address the issue of gun violence in United States, particularly in Chicago.
